This is the chocolate cake of our dreams. Richer than a sponge and with a three week shelf life, it is full of best quality chocolate. To make even more of a treat we suggest you melt one part butter with two parts chocolate in a bain marie. Spread over the top of the cake as illustrated. This would be ideal as a birthday cake or served as a pudding with fresh or stewed fruit and cream.
