Our Almond Cake is a truly sublime treat for almond lovers. Made with sugar, almonds, eggs, butter and a very small amount of flour, it is baked with a layer of marzipan in the centre. A rich cake, it is also suitable as a dinner party pudding, covered with a generous amount of icing sugar and served with any fresh or stewed fruit and creme freche or ice cream. The 6" (150mm) size will give approximately eight to10 portions, the 7" (175mm) approximately 14 portions. This cake freezes very well

Our Dundee Cake is a light fruit cake made with currants, raisins, sultanas, eggs, sugar, margarine, flour, ground almonds and sherry. This is the only cake made without butter especially for those with an allergy to dairy products. It is decorated with almonds. Very good and easy to eat it looks like a cake made in a farmhouse kitchen and freezes well. It is available square or round in 5" (125mm), 6" (150mm) or 7" (175mm) sizes and in catering blocks.
